Hi @Salesforce Knowledge User Group! Really hoping someone can provide some guidance.

My team are in Manila and I want to be able to enable no/low-code article elements to enhance our Knowledge Articles. This is to ensure consistency and reduce error/handling time on articles.

I am looking initially for 3 things:

  1. Filtered/Sorted Tables - We have promotion offers that we need to list out, it is a long list as it contains active and archived offers. I need to be able to have the table be filtered and sorted.
  2. Accordions (or Expand sections) - This feature will be able to help us reduce large amounts of content on the article if necessary
  3. Tooltips (or Pop-out windows) - This feature will be able to help us reduce large amounts of content on the article if necessary

I have asked my internal development team is we can use the New Aura Components for Lightning within Knowledge Articles, but they have said we can't (example here). They have also said HTML code will not support these things in Salesforce, so I am a bit lost.

I wanted to consult with you all before asking for a meeting with our Salesforce account manager to discuss these things.

Appreciate any guidance.

    Thanks

So the main thing is someone would have to build a custom front end component that renders the knowledge data in a different way (eg if text is wrapped in an h2, then make is a show hide component). So it would be a case of rules around what content does what, and then someone turning that into custom html and javascript.

I have created a new community page for FAQs. I what the page to be publicly accessible so I have checked the 'Guest users can see and interact with the site without logging in' under general settings. But still the page require the login to enter the page

Hi all, I've recently started looking at Knowledge Functions and would like to hear your best-case on the following question: How can I automatically send emails with the top 3 Knowledge Articles (link or PDF) to Customer (not Community) when they create a Case for example via Web2Case

How do I automatically determine the top 3 articles?

How do I send the articles by mail? What has to be considered for the template?

Maybe you can share your ideas with me, so that I can implement appropriate projects in the future.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Greetings from Germany

Nico

I am using lightning knowledge and I've enabled the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons; however, they only show for logged in users. I need them to show for users who are not logged in; how do I do that? #Knowledge Articles #Lightning Knowledge Article #Lightning Knowledge Limitations #Knowledge Article #Article Star Rating #Article Thumb Vote

We use the Article Feedback object and for guest user profile give access to Apex Class: afl.afl_ArticleThumbVoteCtrl

Article Feedback object permission: Read, Create

Hi everyone,

What would be the best way to share a Lightning Knowledge Article with a customer, either as a PDF or inserted in an e-mail, including scenarios where a Case is not opened? Are all features available in Lightning Knowledge at this point?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you, @[Hanna Sandoval]. Our Articles are Published and accessible in the Community to Community Members. What I am wondering is how -- if possible -- to make select Articles "internal" such that they cannot be shared or opened by non-Community Members even if the link were shared, while making other Articles "shareable." Thanks again!
