Hello! I am trying to get a better understanding of the data model around Producers, Agents, Contacts, Carriers, Licenses etc.
I have gone through this trail, but do not completely understand it. Specifically:
1. How are you linking Agent to their Agency?
2. How are you recording the states an agent is licensed for?
3. How are you recording which insurance/carrier they might sell for?
4. What specifically is the use of Producer in the data model? Seems to be a junction object linking agents to the InsurancePolicy?
5. Business Licenses, Authorized Lines, Distributer Authorization - anyone have further documentation on this beyond trailhead and the dev guides?
Much thanks in advance!
I am working on the FSC work book and came across below exercise:
Rachel Adams has a new Accountant, Steve Smith from Smith, Kohl and Company. The Advisor
wants to capture that information in ARC. Let’s add her new Accountant’s firm via the ARC Related Account card as an Account-Account
Relationship and let’s add Steve Smith as a Contact-Contact relationship.
When we are creating a relationship for a client which is a person account with a business firm, it should be a Account-Contact relationship. For a client(B2C), can we create a Account to Account relationship using ARC.
Hi All, I have registered for FSC exam and I am going through official webinars and hands on, also checked exam book guide
, the webinars mostly covers about fsc introduction, person account ,househould, action template, omnistudio and many more but exam guide don't suggest these topic. Anyone in the group please guide me what should be the path to crack FSC exam and is there any official questions book or some tips so I can get some hands on for questions.
I am really looking for one of the mentor who can guide me for same.
Oct 6, 12:37 PM The exam guide is your main reference, so build your study plan around its topics and weightings. Webinars often cover extra material, so use them only as support. Salesforce doesn't publish an official question book, but QA4Exam has FSC practice questions with a free demo you can try.
I am looking to get hands on experience in Service Process Studio for Financial Services Cloud. I am unable to see any option to request a Playground with Service Process Studio included/pre-installed.
Please point me to help material with details to request for such a Playground.
Oct 6, 12:36 PM Hi Sachin, There is no Trailhead Playground you can request with Service Process Studio already in it. The Service Process Studio module says the same thing: do not try those clicks in a playground. Agentforce Financial Services (the product that used to be called Financial Services Cloud) is not installed there. For hands-on, use an FSC trial. Salesforce has a configured one with sample data, and a base one that is empty: https://developer.salesforce.com/free-trials/comparison/financial-services-cloud Sign up, open the Financial Services app, and look for Service Process Studio. You need admin access in that org. The prebuilt processes, such as Order Checkbook, are an easy place to click around before you build one from scratch. If you are a partner, the longer-lived option is a Financial Services demo org or a partner developer edition from the Partner Community. The public trial expires in about 30 days. Hope that gets you into an org where the studio actually shows up.
Hi everyone,
I'm setting up Financial Advisor Assistance in Agentforce for Financial Services and I'm running into an error when trying to activate the agent.
Here’s what I've done so far:
- In Setup → Agentforce for Financial Services, I enabled Financial Advisor Assistance.
- I created an agent using the Financial Advisor Assistance agent template.
- When I try to activate the agent, I get the following error: "An error occurred when processing the <Entity> entity with name Financial_Advisor_Assistance. Looks like you don’t have access to agent templates associated with the AgentforceEmployeeAgent agent type. Make sure that you have the required permissions for the type and try again."
The confusing part is that I cannot find any permission set or permission like AgentforceEmployeeAgent in my org. According to the Salesforce documentation, Financial Advisor Assistance requires permissions such as Einstein for Financial Services, Financial Advisor Assistance, Agent Platform Builder, and Execute Prompt Templates, but I'm not sure if there is an additional permission/license required. Has anyone encountered this specific error when activating the Financial Advisor Assistance agent?
- Is there any other setup required before activating the Financial Advisor Assistance agent?
- Is this possibly an issue with the availability/access of the Financial Advisor Assistance employee-agent template in a pre-release FSC trial org?
Any guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Oct 6, 9:54 AM Hi,
Salesforce's official "Manage Employee Agent Access" doc lists the base requirement as Manage AI Agents OR Customize Application — not strictly requiring Manage Agentforce Employee Agents everywhere. That second permission does exist and is explicitly required for some cloud-specific agent features (e.g., it's named for Consumer Goods Cloud), suggesting it's rolling out product-by-product rather than being universal yet — consistent with it not showing up in a Financial Services Cloud trial org.
Worth trying: confirm Customize Application is assigned (e.g., via System Administrator profile) and retry activation — per the official doc, that alone should satisfy the base requirement regardless of whether Manage Agentforce Employee Agents exists in your org yet. If it still fails with Customize Application present, that's strong confirmation this is an entitlement/provisioning gap specific to Financial Advisor Assistance in trial orgs — worth a support case to confirm AgentforceEmployeeAgentAddOn provisioning status.
Has anyone made the migration from FSC Managed package to FSC core objects?
We're a financial advisory firm and I'm prepping for a major integration bringing in our managed financial account data on a nightly basis. Our org is about 2.5 years old and we've built everything off the FSC managed package for households and financial accounts.
Our org is considered the source of truth through the opportunity phase, and then our BD's reporting becomes the source of truth with all financial account info/holdings. I haven't deployed anything yet in Finserv__FinancialAccount__c object since we've been waiting for the integration to be built.
Is it worth the time and effort now to transition to FSC core objects and unravel all FinServ__ objects and fields? My understanding is if I'm going to use FSC core financial accout objects, I should be using FSC core household model with PartyRelationGroup.
I'm leaning towards dealing with this migration now vs collecting more debt against FinServ__ and having this migration ballon later in a few years.
Oct 5, 3:40 PM @Omid Afaghi do you have any case studies of going from FSC Managed Package to FSC Core?

Are there any Practice test for Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional (AP-208) Exam?
Sep 30, 1:07 PM There may not be an official practice-question set for this exam. Third-party scenario-based practice questions can still be useful for checking your understanding, identifying weaker areas, and getting comfortable with different question formats, while the official exam guide and learning resources should remain your primary study sources.

Hi everyone,
I'm setting up Intelligent Referral Management in Financial Services Cloud for a demo.
I've created a Referral Intake Configuration successfully and I'm now creating a New Assignment Rule. However, under Configure → Rule Criteria, the Object dropdown is completely empty. I can't select Referral, Account, PartyProfile, or any other object.
I checked the ReferralDefaultContextDefinition under Context Definitions. It is Active, and its Structure contains:
- Referral
- PartyProfile
- Account
The description also states that it exposes these objects for Referral assignment rules.
For permissions, my user already has both:
- Context Service Admin
- Referral Management Admin assigned. Has anyone encountered this issue where the Object dropdown in New Referral Assignment Rule window is completely empty? Is there any additional permission, feature setting, context configuration, or prerequisite required for the objects to appear in the assignment-rule criteria builder? I'm using the pre-release FSC trail org. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sep 30, 10:33 AM Hi @Sandip Patel, Thanks for the suggestion.
I checked the ReferralDefaultContextDefinition and it is already Active. Since this is the standard/OOTB context definition, I only see Extend and Clone as available actions.
I'm wondering where I can check whether the context definition is
published/deployed/republished. If those are already correct, this may be related to feature provisioning in the pre-release org. I'll update the thread once I have more information.
