#B2C Developer0 discussing

Trying to create a Account manager account so that I can in turn, create a Business Manager account. The reason I want to do this is to just try out and test out the Page Designer in a sort of sandbox environment. Just testing it out, nothing set up yet.

It is my understanding that an Account Manager + Business Manager account is needed to play around with Page Designer.

Not sure what way to get around this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

@Kenny Quach There are three ways for you to get your hands on a B2C Commerce environment (and subsequently Page Designer)

    • For customers and prospects: Please reach out to your Commerce Cloud Account Executive
    • For System Integrator (SI) partners: reach out to your Partner Manager, or see details here about becoming a Salesforce Partner where you can get your own sandboxes
    • For ISVs and ISV prospects: You can complete this form if you are looking to be an ISV Partner where you can get a trial sandbox.

There are unfortunately no trial orgs or playgrounds for B2C Commerce.

    I hope this helps!

It's officially on the schedule. I will be presenting on Trailhead Live 12:00 EST/11:00am CST/9:00am PST on Monday, November 2, 2020.  In this session you will learn how to develop jobs and code scripts to perform scheduled tasks. This is one of the B2C Developer certification exam topics.

I'll add a session link when it becomes available.

Is there a website with proof exams for B2C developer?

AFAIK there was no test/sample exam created for the B2C Commerce Developer exam. (I was a SME involved in building that exam) That said, it was targeted at someone with only 3 months of experience building sites on the platform. So if you've been involved in a brand new site build for three months, or with a maintenance project for probably a bit longer, you shouldn't have significant issues passing it.
